The Newmills House gardens are a peaceful haven only seven miles from Edinburgh.
David enjoys practising topiary in the yew hedge - his playing card suits are an unusual feature.
In the near distance are the Pentland Hills - a popular walking area, well within reach of the house for a day trip.
Tennis Court Available
Guests at the B&B are very welcome to use the outdoor tennis court. Tennis rackets and balls can be provided for guests without their own equipment.
The game of croquet is not everyone's cup of tea but guests are very welcome to have a go!
Parking Facilities at Newmills House
There is ample private parking in the secluded driveway to the front of the house. The bus stop is only a two minute walk away, so guests can leave their car at the house whilst visiting Edinburgh.
